We are still missing quite a few field trip forms for our Veritgo Theatre trip on April 3rd!
They MUST be returned tomorrow at the very latest! Unfortunately, if we do not have the majority or forms returned, we will have to cancel the field trip :-( BRING YOUR FORMS! Students in Grade 7 will be attending a Vertigo Theatre field trip on APRIL 3, 2019!
Forms are being sent home today and will need to be returned before Spring Break (March 20th)! Forms and payments can also be returned during Parent Teacher Interviews next week! Parents with police security clearance that would like to volunteer for this field trip, please send Mr. Murray ([email protected]) an e-mail so a volunteer form can be sent home. Reader's Theatre planning got underway today in Humanities! (7A/7D and 7C/7E). 7B, you will begin tomorrow! The schedule for the week: Monday March 11: Choose groups and begin planning
Thursday March 14: Finish script writing and rehearse as a group (don't forget costumes/props too add to your characters and setting!) Friday March 15: BEGIN PRESENTATIONS Monday (March 18): FINISH PRESENTATIONS Things to remember... - You will have your script to read off of when presenting! - Practice using clarity and volume so we can all hear you! - Performances should be a MINIMUM of 3 minutes long and a MAXIMUM of 5 minutes long - Bring props/costumes to add to your play along with lots of EXPRESSION/TONE in your voice - Your group will need to hand in PLANNING PAGES/PLOT DIAGRAM, SCRIPT and RUBRIC!!!

A reminder that your independent novel study: Character Sketch is due MARCH 18th! You should be done reading your novel and currently working on this assignment during silent reading in class. If you have finished the character sketch and handed it in, you should have chosen a new novel to read silently for enjoyment during this class time! (don't forget to fill out reading logs as you read) The assignment has been attached along with this post. Remember to hand in the assignment sheet, along with your responses.
